Photoshop Secrets

Most of these are not new to me (as I turn the internet upside down to learn things), but many would find them useful, and here they are...

If you are in the middle of dragging the mouse to make a selection, and you press and hold space, you can drag the not-yet-defined selection box around.

If you scroll (with the mouse) you can move up and down in the pic. Holding ctrl (cmd on a mac) will let you go sideways.

If you click in the box of a menu, like for font or blending options, you can use the up and down arrow keys to look through and preview all the different options. NOTE: This often records the change in your history. Do too many and you may erase all of your "undos"!!!

You can change the workspace background color with the paint bucket by shift+clicking on it!

Ctrl(cmd) + Alt(opt) + Shift + K will bring up shortcut options.
